Returns and Refunds

Refund and Return Policy

Most items can be returned within 30 days of delivery. The requirements for the return of items must be:

  • In its original, undamaged condition
  • Disassembled, if the item(s) were originally delivered disassembled
  • In its original packaging. If the original packaging is too damaged to be shipped back, you must use a similar-sized box as the original.

There are some items that cannot be returned:

  • Open Box / Clearance items
  • Bundled items at discounted rates, e.g. “5 for $25” (unless the entire bundle is returned)
  • Items marked “Non-Returnable” on the sale page
  • Items marked "Final Sale" on the sale page
  • Items that are Personalized with a name or custom text / images
To complete your return, we require a receipt, a printed order confirmation, or proof of purchase.
The customer is responsible for return charges unless the product is received damaged or defective.
Please email us within 3 business days of receipt of your order at returns@OlympiaBay.com with photos of the damage. In the email, please indicate if you want a replacement. If not, we will send you a return label within 2 business days for returning the product.

Refunds

  • Once your return is received and inspected, we will email you to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
  • If you are approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original payment method within an average 3-7 business days.
  • A Restocking Fee will be deducted from your refund.

Restocking Fee

There is a 20% Restocking Fee on all returns not due to damage or manufacturer defects. The Restocking Fee will be deducted from your refund.

Exchanges

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. 

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

How will my return be refunded?

When returning an item, your refund will return to your original payment method.

When will I receive my refund?

Timing of your refund is dependent on your refund method.

  • Credit Card: We will initiate your refund once we receive notification that your item(s) have arrived at our Returns Center. Typically, you should see your refund reflected in your account within 5-7 days from carrier drop off or pick up, but it may take up to 2 weeks
  • All other methods: Please allow up to 2 weeks for us to fully process your return and issue your refund.

Extended Holiday Return Policy

For all items purchased between November 1 and December 31, the deadline to return them is extended until January 31.

Shipping and Delivery

Free Shipping to Continental US

Olympia Bay, Inc. offers FREE nationwide delivery across the mainland USA. Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii is not available. We also do not ship to military APO or PO Boxes.

For ground shipments, estimated delivery is 1-8 business days after an initial 1-4 days for your order to be prepared for shipping. For larger LTL deliveries, expect shipping to take up to 15 business days. You will be provided with a tracking number once your order has shipped.

Please note: we are unable to deliver to P.O. Box addresses. 

Shipping outside the continental USA

At this time, we do not ship outside the contiguous US states. 

Tracking

Once your order is shipped, your package will be assigned a shipping tracking number. Our shipping is always free regardless of the courier used.

We have a strict policy to email you your tracking number and the courier in which you can track your shipment. Once an order has shipped, we are unable to cancel the order. Please refer to our returns policy for returning an item.

Our standard policy is that you should receive your order within 5-16 days (business days which exclude weekends and standard major holidays) from the date your order ships with our free shipping option, barring any issues with peak delivery times or with the carriers.

Orders That Are Not Deliverable

If the shipping courier cannot deliver an order due to an address error from the customer's error, or they need to confirm the delivery address with the customer, or for any other reason, it is required of the customer to call the shipping company to confirm their address.  If the customer cannot or does not follow through with calling the courier to provide the required information for delivery, their order may be returned. 

At this point, the order is non-refundable, and replacements are not made.  The customer must place a new order unless the customer purchased shipping protection.

Shipping Protection

If you added Guide Shipping Protection to your order and are now experiencing issues, please go to http://www.guidepro.io to file a claim. Once submitted, a Guide representative will begin processing your claim and follow up with you via email.

PO Box Not Accepted

In many cases, a PO Box is not an acceptable address to deliver to; the customer must input a physical address.  In addition, if your order gets returned by the courier, there may be a re-shipping fee if the address was input incorrectly by the customer.
